The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) under the Gujarat Urban Health Project has published the AMC Recruitment 2023 Notification. The officials will be recruiting 1027 Multi-Purpose Health Workers (MPHW), Female Health Workers, Pharmacists, Lab Technicians, and Medical Officers. Applicants eligible for the respective posts can commence the online application procedure from the 4th of September. Applicants are requested to submit an application form through the online procedure only by the 18th of September.

AMC Gujarat Recruitment Eligibility 2023

Applicants applying for the specified posts must verify their eligibility. The concerned authority will reject the recruitment form of the ineligible candidates. The points given below will simplify the ahmedabadcity.gov.in Recruitment 2023 Qualification.

• It is compulsory for the candidates to be residents of Gujarat State.
• The upper age limit for the Medical Officer/Lab Technician/Female Health Worker must be below 45 years of age.
  • Whereas, applicants applying for the Pharmacist and Multi Purpose Health Worker posts must be below 36 years of age (35 years + 1 Year)
• Educational Qualification for the respective posts are given below:
  • Medical Officer: Must hold an MBBS degree and conclude the internship program. Applicants are also required to be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
  • Lab Technician: Must hold a B.Sc degree in Microbiology or Biochemistry or with Chemistry Discipline. Applicants are also required to have one year of Medical Laboratory Technology certificate. They should also have five years of experience.
  • Pharmacist: Applicants should be registered pharmacists from the affiliated institute.
  • Female Health Worker: Candidates must be ANM or FNW from the Indian Nursing Council. They must be registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council and have a computer as a subject in 10th or 12th Standard.
  • Multi-Purpose Health Worker (MPHW): Must have qualified for the ANM or FHW course and have basic computer knowledge.
