AP Lateral Entry CET Application Process 2023
The AP Lateral Entry CET Application Process 2023 starts with the payment of the registration fees and ends with the submission of the application form. Applicants need to navigate to the AP ECET portal: cettes.apsche.ap.gov.in for the online application form and then continue the procedures.
Fee Payment: To commence the application form procedure, applicants must deposit the prescribed fees. Applicants applying after the end date of application must deposit the late fees.
Know Your Payment Status: After the fee payment, applicants can check their payment status which is the second stage of the application.
Application Form: Now, applicants need to fill out the application form with the greatest care. In the application form, candidates need to upload a scanned passport-size photograph (50Kb) and signature (30Kb). Aadhar card numbers and other related information should be filled in correctly. After the application form submission, candidates can also correct the error in the correction window.
Download/Print Application Form: At last, print or download the application form for the counselling process.
cets.apsche.ap.gov.in Registration Fees 2023
Applicants must deposit cets.apsche.ap.gov.in Registration Fees 2023 through AP online payment or net banking, credit or debit card. The registration fee for the unreserved category (UR) is Rs. 600/-, Rs. 550/- for the backward classes (BC) and Rs. 500/- for the scheduled caste(SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST). Interested applicants can also apply after the end date of application with the late fees.
Applicants applying late till the 15th of April 2023 need to deposit Rs. 500/- as a late fee. After that, Rs. 2000/- is the late fee till the 19th of April. Lastly, the candidates will be given a deadline to submit the application with a late fee of Rs. 5000/- till 24th April 2023.
AP-ECET Exam Scheme 2023
After the application form submission, candidates should start preparing for the written examination. In the written examination, candidates will be provided 200 MCQs consisting of 200 Marks. The AP-ECET Exam Scheme 2023 for the Engineering, Pharmacy and B.Sc lateral entry will vary from paper to paper. The exam scheme for the three courses is explained below:
Engineering Stream: The exam structure for the written examination consists of 50 questions from Mathematics, 50 questions from Physics and Chemistry and 100 questions from the respective engineering branch.
Pharmacy Stream: The pharmacy CET is divided into four sections i.e Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology. Each section consists of 50 questions and the total marks of the examination are 200.
B.Sc Stream: To be eligible for the entrance examination, applicants should have opted for mathematics as one of the subjects. In the written examination 100 MCQs are given from Mathematics and 100 questions consist of Analytical Ability and Communicative English.
