To participate in the application process for the recruitment of Tax Inspector, Assistant & MTS posts under Income Tax Recruitment 2023, the candidate must follow the steps in the following procedure.
- First off, the applicants have to fill out the complete application form in the incometaxbengaluru.org Recruitment 2023 Notification.
- The applicants must also sign this application form.
- The applicants also need to paste their Passport-size photograph in the section given for it on the application form.
- Also, the applicants have to pin their 2 more passport-size photographs to the application form.
- Now, the applicants must issue a Postal Order or Demand Draft in the favour of “ZAO, CBDT, Bangalore” to pay the application fee.
- The applicants must also attach this Postal Order/ Demand Draft with the application form.
- After this, the applicants must put the application form, the required documents and the Postal Order/ DD in an envelope
- The applicants have to superscribe the envelope as

Application Fee
Within the prescribed deadline, the applicants need to Pay Rs. 100/- as an application fee. However, the female applicants and applicants of the SC/ ST/ PwBD/ ESM category do not need to pay this application fee. Income Tax Inspector, Assistant & MTS Selection Process 2023
The authority will conduct a written examination for the Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023 selection process. For this examination, the authority will first shortlist the applicants and release a list on its website 2 weeks before the examination date. For these applicants, the authority will also issue an admission certificate and send it to them via email. The written examination for the posts will have 125 questions from 5 different subjects and the maximum scoreable marks in the exam will be 250.
