Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti conducts the entrance exam for all classes admission process. Presently, they concluded the application process for the 6th Standard admission exam. Students who have applied for the entrance exam must have started preparing for it. The exam conducting authority will be organizing the exam in two phases i.e. 4th of November 2023 and the 20th of January 2024. Students appearing in the exam will only be selected based on the marks they score in the Navodaya Vidyalaya VI Admission Exam 2023. The entrance exam will be conducted in three sections in two hours. The comprehensive details of the forthcoming exam are given below. A single-question booklet will be given to the students which should be completed within the given time. Physically challenged candidates will be given 40 minutes of relaxation. Students will fetch 1.25 Marks for the correct response and there will be no deduction of marks for incorrect response.
Navodaya Vidyalaya VI Entrance Exam Syllabus 2023
Students must have understood the exam pattern of the entrance exam. Now candidates must check the detailed syllabus of the given sections of the admission exam. The section-wise syllabus of exams is given below.
Section 1: Mental Ability/Reasoning Test
This section will examine the candidate’s mental functioning. The questions in the non-verbal exam will be based on diagrams and figures. Here, 4 questions will be given in 10 sections. These 10 sections are Odd-Man Out, Figure Matching, Pattern Completion, Figure Series Completion, Analogy, Geometrical Figure Completion, Mirror Imaging, Punched Hold Pattern, Space Visualization, and Embedded Figure.
Section 2: Arithmetic Test
A total of 20 questions will be based on 11 topics of mathematics. The basic capability in maths will be checked in this section. The 11 arithmetic topics are listed below:
