JOSAA Counselling 2023 Registration: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will start the JoSAA Counselling 2023 Registration process for admission of applicants to different courses in 114 institutes on 19th June 2023. Registration for the counselling will begin online on the official portal of “Joint Seat Allocation Authority”. How to register for JoSAA Counselling 2023

The following is a step-by-step process by which the applicants can register for the online counselling

• For the first step, the applicants must open the official website of the “Joint Seat Allocation Authority”.
• On the homepage of the website, the applicants will find a link that reads “Registration and Choice Filling for JoSAA Counselling 2023”.
• The applicants need to click on that link.
• Now, on the new page, the applicants have to fill in their login details. As can be seen in the image above, the applicants need to enter their JEE (Main) Application Number and Password in order to log in.
• After logging in successfully, the applicants can register for JoSAA Counselling 2023.
• The applicants need to select the academic programs they want to opt for in the particular institutes and sort them in the order of their preferences.
• Post filling in all the details and courses/institutes, the applicants can submit the registration form.

JoSAA Counselling 2023 Important Instructions

• The applicants who have appeared in JEE Main 2023 will enter the application number and password for that exam as login details.
• The applicants who did not appear in JEE Main 2023 will enter the application number and password for JEE Main 2021.
• For foreign nationals who did not appear in JEE Main 2023, the login credentials will be JEE Advanced login id and password.

Seat Allocation on the basis of JoSAA Counselling 2023

During the 10-day window provided to the applicants for choice filling, the applicants must lock their choices. If the applicants do not lock the choices the last updated choices are automatically locked for the seat allocation process. After the completion of the online counselling process for that particular round, the applicants can check the allocation of seats on the login portal. If a seat is allotted to them, the following process is needed to be followed for admission.

• Acceptance of the allocated seat by the applicants
• Uploading of all the relevant documents for verification
• Payment of the seat acceptance fee by the applicants

After the successful payment of the seat acceptance and the uploading of documents for verification, the authority releases a “Provisional Seat Allotment Letter” for the applicants. The applicants have to download it on the official website of the conducting authority. For the final process of admission, the applicants need to report to the allocated institute with the allotment letter and pay the required admission fee to them. The applicants who are not allotted a seat in the first round can register for other rounds of counselling.
