Mukesh Ambani’s Education Details

Mukesh Ambani started his educational career at Hill Grange High School in Mumbai and pursued his higher education at one of the reputed colleges St. Xavier’s College Mumbai. Further, he attended the Institute of Chemical Technology for BE Chemical Engineering. When he completed his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bombay, he was sent to Stanford University to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).

His father Dhirubhai Ambani made him withdraw from his master’s degree because according to him real-life skills are harnessed through experience and not by sitting in the classroom and understanding it theoretically. So, he decided to call his son back to India in the year 1980 and made him enter his business i.e. a yarn manufacturing project.

In an interview, he said, that he was very much inspired by two of his professors, William F. Sharpe and Man Mohan Sharma because they were the kind of professors who made their students think out of the box and always forced them to think uniquely.
