The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship applicants must secure a particular score to pass the exam. Then, the passing candidates are shortlisted based on the cut-off decided by the authorities. The cut-off is declared depending on the factors such as total applicants, category-wise reservation and the number of scholarships.
