Educational Qualifications
- The applicant must have passed the 12th in the 10+2 pattern. He/She should have a Diploma in GNM/BSc Nursing from any medical college or hospital of the concerned state and must be recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.

iv. The applicant must have cleared the Odia test in M.E school standard conducted by the school & Mass Education Department. - Those applicants who have performed duty in COVID-19 for a minimum period of 3 months shall be allowed 5% extra marks on total marks of recruitment.
Age Criteria
The candidate should come between the age limit of 21 to 38 years. However, the maximum age limit for the contractual nursing officer is 45 years of age on the date of advertisement. Some categories are entitled to upper age limit reservation which is sted in the table below:

The osssc.gov.in Nursing Officer 2023 selection will be through a written exam and document verification.
