Steps For TNEA Counselling Registration 2022
Make sure you have your login credential ready before following the TNEA Counselling Registration 2022 steps:
- Firstly, open the official portal on your web browser – https://www.tneaonline.org/
- Secondly, click on the ‘Choice Filling link for Govt. School Sports/ Choice Filling link for Govt. School Ex-Servicemen’
- Thirdly, click on the ‘Login’ button and provide your email address and password.
- After that, provide all the asked details and fill in your choices of college. Make sure to rank them in the order of your preference.
- Lastly, save the order and submit it.

- Accept & Join – Candidates will accept the allotted seat and report to the respective college as per the prescribed date. In case of not reporting to the college, the candidate will lose his/her allotted seat. In addition, such candidates will not be allowed to participate in the next round of tneaonline.org counselling.
- Accept and Upward – The candidate accepts the allotted seat but wishes to get the allotment in the top colleges of his/her preference list. In other words, the candidate will wait for allotment in the higher order of his choice. In case, the higher allotment is not provided then the previously allotted seat will be considered final.
- Decline and Upward – Same as the aforesaid choice however, this time the candidate rejects the allotted seat. He/she will wait for the allotment in the top listed colleges on the preference list. If no better seat is allotted then the candidate will take part in the next round oftneaonline.org counselling.
- Decline and move to the next round – If you do not get the preferred seat you can reject it and take part in the next round.
- Decline and Quit – The candidates can reject the allotted seat and not take part in the succeeding rounds of the tneaonline.org counselling.
- Upward or move to the next round – This option arises when no seat is allotted to the candidate. The candidate will get the seat in the upward movement otherwise he/ she can participate in the next round.
