TANGEDCO Aadhaar Linking Process Important Guidelines

While linking their Adhaar Cards to their TNEB Electricity Connections, the consumers must mandatorily follow some guidelines. The list of all of these guidelines is as follows. All the consumers must go through it.

• Consumers must keep in mind that the Aadhar linking option is only for Domestic, Power Loom, Agriculture, and Hut Services. So, they must have any of these connections for Aadhaar Linking.
• Whilst linking the Aadhaar Card, the consumers must keep their Aadhaar Linked mobile number ready with the. The OTP concerned with the linking process will be sent to that number.
• The consumers must enter their service connection number in the format which is sent to them by SMS or as it is stated in their receipts. The formats of the service connection numbers are given below.

In order to link their TNEB Electricity Connection with their Aadhaar, the consumers must follow the process we are sharing below. Prior to performing this process, the consumers must keep their Aadhaar Card Linked Mobile Number ready. Also, they must have their electricity receipts for their service connection number.

1. To begin this process, the consumers have to go to the official portal of TNEB for Aadhaar Linking which is nsc.tnebltd.gov.in/adharupload.
2. Through this link, the homepage of this portal will open up for consumers.
3. On this homepage, the consumers with see three spaces for entering the Service Connection Number, Mobile Number, and Text in the image.
4. The consumers have to enter all three of these details correctly and submit them.
5. Now, the organization will send an OTP to the Aadhaar Linked Mobile Numbers of the consumers.
6. Using that OTP, the consumers must verify their TNEB Account.
7. The consumers must now provide other asked details in the spaces given on their screens.
8. Afterward, the consumers must also upload a copy of their Aadhaar Card if required.

TANGEDCO Offline Aadhaar Linking Process

Since a lot of consumers were complaining about not being able to link their Aadhaar with their connection online, the TN Government found a remedy for this. The Government set up special camps for consumers for TANGEDCO Aadhaar Linking. These camps are set up in 2,811 offices all over the state. The consumers can head to these camps and opt for the TNEB Aadhaar Link by 31 December 2022. These camps will stay open from 10:30 AM to 5:15 PM barring all government holidays.
