Important Guidelines

In the uceed.iitb.ac.in Counselling 2023 Result, candidates can accept i.e Freeze the seat or can reject the seat or they can wait for upward movement of the allotted seat i.e Float. In the following points, there are a few rules which a candidate must know in the seat allotment procedure.

• If a candidate doesn’t deposit the Seat Acceptance Fees then the concerned authority will cancel the admission. The candidate will not be allowed for subsequent seat allotment procedures.
• If a candidate is allotted their first preference Institute then the candidate has a choice to accept (Freeze) or reject the seat.
• If a candidate is allotted their 2nd/3rd/4th preference of Institute then they can freeze the seat or they can float the seat for upward movement of the allotted seat. When the candidate selects the float option it is expected that the candidate has accepted the prescribed seat if they are not allotted the upward movement of the Institute.
• Candidates who choose the float option have to deposit the fee only once.
• After the Second round of seat allotment, candidates who cancel the seat will be refunded the fee after the deduction of Rs 5000 as the processing charges. There will be no refund process of fees in the last round.
