Candidates for the UGC NET 2023 June Registration should carefully choose whether they are applying for “Assistant Professor” or “Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor” on the application form. Applicants who only meet the requirements for an Assistant Professor will not be given consideration for the JRF seats. Aspirants who meet the requirements for the JRF seats are also qualified for the seat of Assistant Professor and they can also pursue research in their PG field of study or one that is closely related. UGC-NET Application Fees 2023

The UGC-NET Application Fees 2023 is divided into three categories and the fee relaxation is provided to the reserved category and third genders. ugcnet.nta.nic.in June 2023 Test Format

The ugcnet.nta.nic.in June 2023 Test Format consists of a 3 hours Computer Based Test (CBT) divided into two parts. Part A comprises 50 questions of 100 marks in which the candidate’s Teaching and Research Aptitude is tested. In Part B, Subject specific 100 questions are given to the applicants. The medium language of the exam will be Hindi and English. The syllabus of the examination can be downloaded from the UGC website. In the Online test, candidates will receive 2 marks for each correct response and no marks will be subtracted for the wrong answer. Since there is no deductible marking, aspirants must select the closest choice as the correct response.
