Union Public Service Commission CSE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The Union Public Service Commission CSE 2023 Eligibility Criteria are set in accordance with the Commission. The candidate should be a citizen of either India, Nepal, or Bhutan. Immigrants of Myanmar, Pakistan, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania, Vietnam and Zaire, Kenya, Zambia, Sri Lanka, and Ethiopia are also eligible. Check further criteria below:
The basic requirement is that candidates must have done their graduation from any UGC-approved or Government recognised university. Even those candidates are eligible who are currently in their final year of graduation. The only condition for such applicants is that before the recruitment result, they must be declared qualified by their respective universities.
The age criteria for all the candidates will be calculated as of August 1, 2023. It varies according to the category of the candidate, kindly check the table below:

The application for the forms will be filled out according to the selection procedure. Currently, the application for phase one (preliminary) is taking place. The candidates have to upload some documents along with filling in the basic details. The following will be the required documents for UPSC Civil Service 2023 Registration:

UPSC 2023 Civil Services Exam Application Process.
The Application form can simply be filled out by visiting the administrative website. The applicants have to register themselves with a valid Email ID and Mobile number. Once the registered account is secured candidates can further proceed to fill out the forms for संघ लोक सेवा आयोग सिविल सेवा परीक्षा 2023 in a systematic format:
- Visit the official website – https://www.upsc.gov.in/
- Now on scroll down and click on the “Examination Notification” tab on the right side of the screen.
- Click on the above link, and a new portal will open, refer to the image below and click on the respective link
- Now click on the option One Time Registration (OTR ) For Examination
- After clicking on the above option the registration page opens in front of the applicant.
- Applicants can easily complete the upsc.gov.in Civil Service Registration 2023.
- Once the registration is done, fill out the complete form.
- Pay the fees
- Take a quick peek at the filled forms and documents last time.
- After completing the checking of the form submit it and take a printout of the finally submitted application form on A4 sheet paper for future purposes.
Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- except for SC/ST-Female/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates. Applicants can submit their respective UPSC CSE Fee 2023 in both online and offline modes. Those candidates who are opting for an online method of fee payment can pay through the net banking facility of any bank or by using any Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/ Debit Card/UPI Payment. Whereas candidates who desire to pay in cash can go to any branch of the State Bank of India.
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 Selection Process.
The cycle of the process goes through a series of examinations. Phase one is the UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Exam 2023. Candidates who qualify for the exam enter the more intensive stage which is the main examination. After phase 2, candidates are called out for the interview phase in which candidates are analysed by the most prestigious and deemed officers of India. This last phase will declare whether a candidate is capable of becoming an officer. Those candidates who are fortunate enough to pass through all the difficult stages and find their name shinning in the merit list will be the ones who will be given the call letters once the final verification will be done.
