The GOI has issued a security warning notice for Samsung Galaxy mobile users... but why find out in our story.

Advisory

On December 13th, CERT-In issued an advisory mentioning that multiple vulnerabilities may impact millions of Samsung Galaxy (old and new models) phones.

Steal Your Data

These vulnerabilities reported in the devices may compromise users' private data and other data that may harm the users.

Attackers

This allows attackers to break the device’s SIM, bypass Knox Guard and access AR Emoji sandbox data due to licensing issues in the AR Emoji application and improper access to Conox features.

What to do?

The notice mentioned that such existing users must promptly update their device operating system.

The report also suggests the susceptible threat is for devices runs on Android versions 11, 12, 13, and 14.

Check Update

Users must regularly check their system updates pushed by Samsung and update it properly when available.
